Having experienced my own personal challenges being a mother of a child diagnosed with ADHD combined type (severe) at a young age, I am passionate about educating clients of all ages in the area of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.”

Mia received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at California State University, (Dominguez Hills) in 2012 and was awarded acceptance into UCLA’s merit-based research program where she worked  at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior; specifically for the Center for Autism Research & Treatment (CART) and successfully defended her thesis on ADHD, specifically how the ADHD subtypes vary when it comes to experiencing Peer Rejection, and Bully Behavior in 2017.

Mia also has experience with young dual diagnosed teens &/or young adults who are in recovery, or have been dually diagnosed as it has driven her passion for mental health advocacy and the value of a thorough assessment. In addition, her experience in school-aged children in private and public sectors.

Mia has supervised ABA clinicians and continued into post-graduate education to help the most vulnerable children and young adults. Ms. Mia is currently working towards her Board Certified Behavior Analyst License and serves the Greater Los Angeles Area with her vast scope of practice in neurodiverse populations.
